Lauren Clarke

Lauren Clarke is a Family Solicitor and Head of our Child Care Department. She joined the firm in August 2006 as a newly qualified Family Solicitor and has worked her way up to being appointed as Head of Department. She now deals exclusively with Children Law work and in particular has a wide range of experience in dealing with cases involving Social Services.

Lauren is a qualified member of the Law Society Children Panel and also a committed member of the Resolution Family Law organisation. She is currently working towards becoming an Accredited Specialist in Adoption Proceedings and Private Law Children Work.

Lauren undertakes the following areas of Family Law with a particular specialism in Care Proceedings and Children Law work in both Doncaster and Rotherham:

• Care Proceedings - representing parents, extended family members and children in care proceedings issued by the Local Authority for Care Orders, Supervision Orders, Placement Orders, Special Guardianship Orders and Education Supervision Orders
• Involvement with Social Services including Case Conferences and PLO/Issues of Concern
• Children Work - representing all parties on private Children Law matters including applications for Child Arrangement Orders (previously known as Residence Orders and Contact Orders) Prohibited Steps orders and Specific Issue Orders
• Domestic Violence - including applying for Non Molestations Orders and Protection from Harassment Orders.

Lauren is fully committed to achieving the best possible outcome for all of her Family Law clients. She has an excellent working knowledge of her areas of specialism and also the current Family Law Legal Aid system.
