What We Do

Residential Landlord & Tenant Disputes

Disputes are often an unfortunate consequence of renting-out residential property. Our team of Solicitors are able to advise landlords on their rights, obligations and remedies. You will be provided with tailor-made advice on how best to resolve your specific dispute in a cost and time efficient manner.

We are frequently instructed on behalf of landlords to recover possession as a result of unpaid rent. In our experience, this is becoming more common and it is therefore vital that landlords act quickly to obtain possession in order to maintain their cash flow. We understand that a practical and speedy resolution is required in these cases. Our team will always aim to resolve all disputes and recover all outstanding rent whilst keeping costs to a minimum.

Unfortunately, once rent becomes outstanding for a substantial period of time, more often than not, landlords have no alternative but to evict their tenants in order to make the property available for reletting. Our team is on hand to advise you on the remedies available and eviction procedures. We can provide assistance from serving notices under the appropriate legislation through to issuing possession proceedings, attending the subsequent hearings at Court and instructing Bailiffs in order to obtain possession of the property.

Where your dispute is in relation to residential property and you are a landlord, we may able to offer a fixed fee. Please ask our Solicitors for further information.

If you would like to discuss a potential matter or would like any further information then please contact one of our team using the details shown on this page.
